Set of Three!
In this set, the three projects are small, thin, vases. From bottom to top, they belly out slightly then are choked in at the top with a flared lip not exceeding the width of the project. They were all made on the wheel, and have no added decoration. The glaze is a one time dipped shadow green on each one, that is fairly thin in places and thicker in others. It is shiny and possibly looks a little drippy. Because the projects are so small and fragile, the solid color adds to the simplistic look. They look natural because of the glaze color and don't look overdone. Additionally, because of the size, they really do come off as cute and sassy.

Bowl Set!
These bowls are all fairly wide, evenly thin bowls. They flare out enough at the top making them look a bit elongated. They were all made on the wheel, and have no added decoration. The glaze is a half and half dipped turquoise and dark blue, with an overlap that creates a beautiful deep turquoise tint. The blue side is shiny, while the turquoise is more matte. The triple color scheme is simple yet it gives the pieces an edge and divides them which adds design to the circular shape. Also, the difference in glazes, matte and glossy, suggest that although they're not alike, they still come together nicely and end up creating a magnificent third color.

Duo Set!

My Duo set is very much like my bowl set. They are only slightly taller with more of a vase shape, with the similar flared lip. The glaze is exactly the same, turquiose and dark blue and an overlapping deep tinted blue. Again the matte turquiose and the shiny blue surprisingly come together nicely and with the difference in colors we have a beautiful three color scheme that creates an edge on the projects which divides them nicely.

Tall Form!

This tall form was one of my first projects this semester, so it is fairly thick. It blows out at the bottom, is choked in the center, and flares out again at the top in a traditional vase form. The glaze is once again the turquiose, dark blue, with the additional third deep blue color. On this piece thought, the third color is more drippy than on the others and it creates a jagged line going horizontally across the vase which divides it into two halfes and gives it a definite form.
